Organizational change is inevitable, but most people need to prepare for it. How we respond to change moves beyond our flexibility. It's about leaning into adaptability and disrupting fear with a skills-based approach to embracing change.
Description
This 2-hour workshop will explore what it means to embrace change by tapping into three critical areas of adaptability*. Through interactive scenario-based learning, theory and self-reflection, we will examine adaptability skills such as communication, growth mindset, resourcefulness, empathy, teamwork and curiosity and how each has a strategic role in one's ability to respond to change and adapt. *You will select three skill areas for scenario-based learning during the workshop.
Learning Outcomes
- Learn workplace adaptability frameworks and techniques to improve your ability to navigate change and uncertainty.
- Develop a skills-development mindset during moments of change to enable growth and learning.
- Identify how your experiences with fear limit your open mind, imagination, and comfort zone and apply tools to overcome them.
