What you'll do

In this 90-minute workshop, participants will examine systems of oppression and explore the impacts of white supremacy in the workplace on the development of BIPOC employees. Through scenario-based learning, we will deconstruct the experiences of marginalized professionals in the workplace and explore approaches to creating inclusive experiences and accessible career development.

Workshop Outcomes
  • Participants will understand power and privilege as people leaders and non-BIPOC employees.
  •  Participants will recognize when BIPOC employees are experiencing the emotional labour of working a simultaneous shift.
  • Participants will learn how to use equity-informed practices to increase and support the professional growth of BIPOC employees.
