What you'll do
Surya Namaskar is a traditional way to offer greetings to the early morning mild sun by making a sequence of 12 yoga poses. Through it, we learn how to harness life energy.
If you have never done Yoga, don't worry - this experience is a great way to start! No prior experience needed!
Here is what we will do:
- Warm Up with Chants
- Reciting a few chants with music to enjoy the serenity of mantras.
- We will practice the sequence of 12 majestic steps of the Sun Salutation - easy & slow. We will do about 10 cycles to feel the stretches.
3. The Games of Breath & Body
- We often miss recognizing what our body is capable of. Come & try fun games with us and watch your body reveal new things about yourself!
4. A Serene Music Meditation
- We end the session with a live concert with Shreya, as she plays a magnificent traditional music instrument (Tanpura) for us that will teleport us to a new world of peace & happiness!
