THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH JOY! Forget about your worries for 60 minutes with an interactive session of laughter- therapy and yoga. An experience that uses modernized techniques adapted to your daily life. It starts with Pranayama yogic- and mindful breathing to relax and create a synergy within the group. Then we pivot into exercises that trigger laughter. During this transition, I’ll share theories and help you localize laughter within the body making us laugh more and more. What you'll do
Let’s forget our worries during a 60-minute session of laughter-therapy, and yoga. This experience is great for team-building, global gatherings, or if you’re looking to reconnect with your colleagues while working from home.
This experience uses a modern technique adapted to your daily life. It starts with Pranayama yogic and mindful breathing to relax and create a synergy within the group. Then we pivot into exercises that trigger laughter. During this transition, I’ll share theories and help you localize laughter within the body making us laugh more and more.
Don’t worry if you’re feeling shy—it’s been proven that the body doesn’t know the difference between forced laughter and real one. In less than 10 seconds, a forced laugh becomes a real one, and as your laughter increases, so does your joy. This laughter boosts your blood flow by 50 percent and releases activated serotonin and dopamine release in your brain.
We’ll finish with meditation and then take a moment to share what we feel.
This experience had been an auxiliary class at Stanford in their cursus "Humor & Resilience" during the year 2020-2021.
