I’m not positive how many people will play. Is it OK if more/less people show up than what I project?

Absolutely! Our simple event format was purposefully designed so that attendance fluctuations don’t affect how we host. Whether 5 people show up or 50, our host will welcome them warmly and make sure they have a blast connecting through fun! *Please note, if the actual attendance goes above the projected attendance, no sweat! You will simply be charged for these extra players after the soiree.

Can this event be enjoyed by attendees from different countries?

Yes! Anyone who logs in will have a blast, no matter where they’re located in the world.

Does this event work well for a large group of people (over 50)?

Absolutely! Our event format ensures that everyone is engaged in the main room, is able to comfortably connect with small teams in breakout rooms, and has a blast throughout!

Is it OK if players log in late or leave early?

Certainly! Our flexible format makes it easy to ingratiate folks who arrive late and easily roll with people leaving early.

Can you remotely host this event in a hybrid or in-person capacity?

Definitely! Our friendly host is broadcast live on a TV at your venue to lead in-person players through a fun & social experience. How much time will be spent with the whole group versus in small teams?

Roughly ⅔ of the event is experienced with everyone while ⅓ is enjoyed in small teams (of 3-5 people).

Do I (the event organizer) have to be at the event?

Nope! Our events are fully hosted so it will go smoothly whether you’re there or not. If you do decide to attend, we highly encourage you to join in the fun as we’ll take care of everything! If you can't make it, you'll know exactly how it went as we automatically send you a detailed event recap the next business day.

Can winners be found/announced by the host?

Yes! Since we switch up the teams throughout, we're able to find/announce individual winners instead of winning teams. We traditionally like to announce 3 individual winners at the end of each event. Awards such as Most Points, Most Enthusiastic, Most Visual Spirt, Most Encouraging, Funniest, etc keep everyone involved and bring out characteristics that make the soiree more fun for everyone! The winners will be sent to you in the event recap the next business day.

Will players have to perform or be singled out in front of the entire group?

Nope! Most of the talking they’ll be doing will be in small groups of 3-5 people (while in breakout rooms). If they feel like talking in the main room, great! If not, they can easily chat out their thoughts or stay silent while with everyone. It's up to them!

When will the event start/players be let in from the waiting room (if joining virtually)?

The host will login to start the waiting room 10 minutes before the event start time. They will then let people in from the waiting room at the exact event start time.

Can I request that teams stay the same throughout?

Absolutely! We can keep the same team combination throughout the event if you feel that fits your plans better.

Can I provide a list of the exact teams we want to be grouped together?

Yes! If you’d like to go the predetermined team route, you would simply need to send us a list of teams at least 8 hours in advance so our host knows how you want to group everyone! In this scenario, the teams would stay the same throughout the entire event.

Do players have to turn their cameras on the entire event (if joining virtually)?

This event is all about having fun and connecting in a comfortable atmosphere. Therefore, they make the call based on their comfort level!

Description: Climb aboard a magical cruise that’s set to dock at a secluded island for a one-of-a-kind tropical beach vacation! While playing high spirited games & getting to know your cruise mates on the picturesque shore, you slowly start to notice the captain, crew & ship have vanished. Wait, where did they all go?? What started off as a relaxing beachside get-away has gradually turned into an exhilarating mission to get-away from the island and all the mysterious forces that want to keep you there!

Luckily, a super friendly & funny guide is available to lead everyone around the island in a quest to prove their worth. That said, it’s time to work together as a collective group, in small small teams & on your own to solve various styles of puzzles and mini-games to increase your chances of freedom! Each entertaining challenge you discover requires you to comfortably collaborate with teammates, find creative ways to complete unique puzzles & collect gold coins. The more gold you accumulate overall, the better your chance to solve the final puzzle and prove you’re worthy to leave the island! If you’re looking for an intense experience where small teams are sent to breakout rooms to work apart from the large group for an hour while experiencing the event through interactive websites or downloaded software, this is likely NOT for you. However, if you’re searching for an out-of-the-box event that adds the excitement & strategy of an escape room PLUS the laughs & social engagement from a game night PLUS the immersive storytelling aspect of a murder mystery, this soiree is the perfect match!

How It Works: This narrative adventure ensures players will thoroughly enjoy a wide range of puzzles, challenges, & mini-games with various team combinations while showing off their intelligence & teamworking skills. During the final challenge, individual players will have the chance to prove if they’re worthy of leaving the island through a fun puzzle. Ultimately, the more gold they’ve earned overall, the better their odds of successfully vacating this epic beach adventure!

Throughout the experience, the main goal is to effectively/comfortably connect the group through puzzles and mini-games that are extremely entertaining, high energy & engaging! A peppy and experienced host will lead your group through 2-3 rounds of fun experienced with the whole group (for 65% of the event) and in small teams (for the other 35%). We traditionally create teams of 3-5 people as we've found this is the optimum amount for introverts & extroverts alike.

To guarantee this soiree is simple to play, easy to follow, and super flexible (so we can entertain any group with any curveballs), players only need to grab a pen & paper to enjoy. What’s more, themed video backgrounds & upbeat music will be used to immerse everyone in an experience they can see and hear!
